This bath bomb is inspired by the Japanese Cherry Blossom and shares it's scent with Rub Rub Rub body scrub which is one of my favourite products and scents. Unfortunately, this bath bomb was not a hit with me at all. This is probably due to the fact that initially I used one that a friend gave me which had been given to her a while back so was probably quite old. I then used a second one that I had got at the end of May, so about 2 months old, and had the same result.

Lush has created this bath bomb with ingredients that are meant to create a floral fragrance which completely disappeared in the water and was only vaguely present when it was dissolving. This bath bomb has 4 flower extract ingredients and I could barely smell any of them and the water smelt slightly clinical. It also doesn't produce any coloured froth or turn the water any colour which was disappointing as it would have been nice to see the water turn a nice pink to mimic the cherry blossom and I think due to the fact that this has sea salt present, it sank to the bottom of the tub bubbling away.

The one good thing about this bath bomb was that it did turn the water silky smooth and I did feel quite moisturised afterwards so it might be a bath bomb I would split in half and use it with another bath bomb.

All in all, I may repurchase Sakura to give it another go but I was quite disappointed in it so that probably won't happen any time soon!

It does initially look like the water will turn a light pink.
